2 ingredient peanut butter cookies

Today I was in the mood for cookies! I didn't want sugar sweet cookies that would make me feel blah. I just wanted that moment of biting into a warm cookie from the oven. :)

So the TWO ingredient peanut butter cookie was born. All you need is a cup of peanut butter and an egg. You can add honey or pure maple syrup to sweeten it up a bit if you want.

Preheat the oven to 350.

I use a rubber spatula when dealing with peanut butter so I can salvage as much as possible after measuring.

Of course these two were just waiting (begging) me to drop something. They LOVE peanut butter!

Mix your cup of peanut butter and egg until you form a dough.

I like to use a stone when I am baking cookies. Just roll your dough into balls or plop spoonfuls on there if that's your thing.

You can cook them like that or press them with your fork. To me, peanut butter cookies are just not the same without the cross pattern. ••Nostalgia**

Ready for baking. Bake for about 8 minutes for crumbly but soft cookies.
