I bought a few bunches of bananas the other day and thanks to the sun coming through the window they ripened a little quicker than anticipated. Matt doesn't like to eat overly ripe bananas so I cut them up to freeze so I thought I would share some of the things I plan to do with them!

1. Banana Nice Cream

It is a delicious creamy treat that you will think is ice cream. Just blend them up! You can add almond milk, fruit, chocolate chips, or anything else your heart desires!

2.Smoothies!!

I drink superfood smoothies every day. Frozen bananas are perfect for thickening and creaming it up without making it frothy when I am in the mood for something fancier than my shake and go smoothie.

3. Dip them in chocolate!

Hello delicious indulgence! I like to melt up a little dark chocolate to dip them in. You can freeze them with the chocolate on them or just dip and munch!

4. Toss in oatmeal

This is a quick way to add flavor and cool down hot oats at the same time! Win Win

5. Eat them with peanut butter

I like to spread a little peanut butter in between two and make a yummy frozen sandwich!

Now for a banana tip!

Do you ever get tired of those nasty strings when you open your banana? I do!

Next time you eat a banana, peel it upside down!

Pop the top(bottom) and peel. Then those pesky strings stay right where they should and you can enjoy your banana in peace!
